Hexagon, DC’s only, and America’s oldest continuously running all-original political satirical musical comedy theater group returned on March 15 with a brand-new show for our 64th year: Romp in the Swamp! Come and join us on a journey of pure fun and nonsense, where a group of archaeologists in the future rediscover the long-lost city of Washington, DC, now a literal swamp (as it once was originally). There, they find locals they didn’t know still existed, and artifacts they weren’t sure were still around. They interact with the Residents of the Swamp and converse with each other, wondering about what life was like in the old days. Their conversations bring up comical visions of what modern DC and its inhabitants might have been like.
